Lemon Lime

Steelworks partnered with Poppi to create a 30s broadcast spot celebrating the release of Poppi’s new Lemon-Lime flavor. We incorporated Poppi’s signature color palette and chrome aesthetic with transformative reveals of the can and flavor cues.

Our goal was to craft an engaging and dynamic campaign for Poppi that seamlessly transitions from the product reveal to showcasing its flavors and ingredients, all while capturing the essence of sneaker culture.

 

We aimed to align with Poppi's distinctive chrome aesthetic, infusing the ad with freshness and vibrant shots of juicy fruit, all in this lemon-lime world. The spot combines energetic visuals and a pulsating soundtrack to create an immersive experience.

 

This campaign not only highlights the refreshing taste of the new flavor but also solidifies Poppi's position as a trendsetter in the beverage industry. By blending style and substance, we ensured that the ad resonates with Poppi’s youthful and vibrant audience.

Design Exploration

We explored various methods to bring the Poppi can to life, especially focusing on the final frame.
Our goal was to make the can appear refreshing while maintaining the early 2000s aesthetic that Poppi wanted to convey.

We also explored different ways to bring the typography elements to life.

Can Reveal

We experimented with different animation techniques, such as dynamic transitions, vibrant color schemes, and nostalgic visual elements. Our aim was to create a seamless and engaging reveal that not only highlighted the new design but also evoked a sense of nostalgia, resonating with the audience's fond memories of the 2000s era.

Look and Feel

We maintained the same aesthetic for the fruits and experimented with various methods to bring the fluid simulations to life, transitioning from lemons to limes and featuring both. By incorporating realistic motion and vibrant colors, we aimed to create a visually appealing and dynamic presentation. This approach not only highlighted the freshness of the fruits but also reinforced the brand's lively and energetic image.
